Bogota Coffee will be taking donations and clothing at the shop up until the 20th of July and they thank you in advance for anything you can give!
As part of Bogota coffee’s upcoming trip to some of the coffee farms in Colombia, They'll also again be visiting the San Mauricio orphanage in Bogotá. The orphanage has always been close to Carl and Andrea's hearts the owners of Bogota Coffee, volunteering there and spending much needed time with the children when they lived in Bogotá.
On a previous trip, with customer donations, plus money contributed by Thomas Connolly, they were able to buy the children sports clothes and equipment, as well as donating clothes brought over from the UK.
If you have unwanted clothing that you'd like to donate for them to take over, they will happily take it from you at the Bogota Coffee shop. There is also their Children Change Colombia tin on the counter should you wish to donate any money.
San Mauricio is home to 350 children, ranging from small babies to adolescents, with many coming from broken homes or left to fend for themselves. Donations help buy equipment for the children, but also assists in paying for their further education as they get older.
